Donsha Island is far away from any substantial land. Most of the plants living on the isles have migrated through the ocean currents. But, how did these plants travel thousands of miles to take root on the isles of Donsha Island? In 2014, the Marine National Park Headquarters (MNPH) will take you into the ecosystems and diversified bio-communities of Dongsha Atoll National Park through a series of activities for the Love Ocean Family Time Campaign. An event is launched every month, inviting children 5 and older to take their families to the fun events. The first activity, Make a Whistle with Alexandrian Laurel Seeds, is scheduled to kick off the series events at 10am on January 5th (Sunday). All participants will receive an education pack and a sticker. Collect 3, 6, 9, or 12 stickers to exchange for a free gift. Gifts are available while stock lasts. We welcome all children and their families to come and have fun with us on January 5th.
MNPH is located inside of the Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park, across the street from the Kaohsiung City DMV office. The address is No. 24, Demin Rd., Nanzi Dist.
