Located in the northeast of Taiwan, Turtle Island lies at 24 degrees 49 minutes 58 seconds to 24 degrees 50 minutes north latitude. It is an island with unique and precious natural landscape. Around the Island, there are sea area, volcano, hot spring as well as diverse ecology such as coral reefs, invertebrate animals and coral reef fish species. On the Island, there are mountains, sea caves, lakes, cold springs and a variety of plants. It is hot and muggy in the summer because southwest monsoon is blocked by the central range. During the winter, northeast monsoon will bring a lot of water vapor. It is typical subtropical monsoon climate.
