Penghu South Four Islands National Park is Taiwan’s ninth national park and the second marine-type national park following Dongsha Atoll National Park. Within its boundaries are magnificent basalt geological landscapes, abundant coral reef ecosystems, endemic species of flora and fauna unique to Taiwan, and traditional Minnan-style architecture, forming a diverse and rich blend of ecological and cultural scenery with distinctive conservation and promotional value.
To help more people become acquainted with this beautiful national park, MNP collaborated in 2016 with renowned Taiwanese photographer Hsu Chao-pang to publish the photography collection “Impressions of the Penghu South Four Islands.” In anticipation of World Oceans Day 2017, a photography exhibition and new book launch will be held in Penghu on June 4, with the photographer invited to share his creative insights. Through these vivid and captivating images, readers are invited to explore and experience the diverse landscapes and cultural charm of the Penghu South Four Islands set between sea and sky.
The “Impressions of the Penghu South Four Islands” Photography Exhibition will be on display at the 1st Floor of Penghu Magong Airport from June 4 to August 20, 2017.
