The Marine National Park Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as MNPH), in collaboration with Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park, presents the “Sea Talk” – Marine Ecology Photography Exhibition from June 7 to September 30, 2015, at Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park. Members of the public who care about and cherish the ocean are warmly invited to join us and listen as we “talk about the sea.”
As an island surrounded by the ocean, Taiwan possesses rich and diverse marine resources that are among its most valuable treasures. The “Sea Talk” exhibition features stunning photographs of coral reefs and marine life captured by marine ecology experts and scholars such as Cheng Ming-hsiu and Tsai Yung-chun, who are passionate about ocean conservation. The exhibition also showcases the magnificent atoll landscape, migratory birds in flight, and vibrant marine biodiversity of Dongsha Atoll National Park—an area less familiar to the general public. Through the lenses of these photographers, visitors can explore the ocean and the national park without the need for heavy diving equipment, and experience the beauty of marine ecosystems with ease.
