Guidelines for Applying to Inquire About Cases Within the Jurisdiction of the Marine National Park Headquarters
The "Fee Standards for Cases Involving National Park Plan Areas Accepted by the Ministry of the Interior" was promulgated and implemented on December 12, 2017, by the Ministry of the Interior under Document No. Tai-Nei-Ying-Zi 1060112374. All inquiries regarding national park plan areas will be charged according to this standard. Accordingly, the Marine National Park Headquarters (hereinafter MNPH) has established the "Guidelines for Applying to Inquire About Cases Within the Jurisdiction of the Marine National Park Headquarters," which explain the documents required for application, payment procedures, and other related processes.
The fee standard is as follows: for inquiries involving 10 land parcels or fewer, the fee is NT$350; for more than 10 parcels, an additional NT$60 is charged for every set of 10 parcels exceeded, with any fraction counted as a full set of 10 parcels. Payment for inquiries within the MNPH jurisdiction can be made in cash or via bank transfer. Applicants or organizations must submit proof of payment along with the application documents via official correspondence when applying for an inquiry.
To help the public better understand the national park boundaries, the MNPH includes a list of administrative districts and maps covering the planned area in the application guidelines. This allows applicants to check in advance and reduces the number of applications that clearly fall outside the national park plan areas, thereby minimizing unnecessary inquiry costs for the public.
