The Marine National Park Headquarters (hereinafter MNPH) encourages graduate students from domestic universities to participate in research projects related to the national parks. MNPH is now accepting applications for research projects from graduate students across Taiwan, with a maximum research funding of NT$100,000 per project. Interested students pursuing research in marine conservation and park management may download the application documents from the MNPH website. Applications for this year are accepted from now until August 31.
MNPH manages the Dongsha Atoll National Park and promotes the planning of the potential marine-type national park in the Penghu South Sea Islands (Dongji, Xiji, Dongyuping, and Xiyuping). In addition to ongoing research and surveys, MNPH hopes that graduate students from domestic universities will participate in research projects this year to cultivate talents in marine research.
Graduate students interested in conducting research on natural sciences, earth sciences, ecological conservation, environmental science, zoology, botany, cultural heritage, national park management, environmental education, ecotourism, or traditional architecture in Dongsha Atoll National Park or the potential marine-type national park in the Penghu South Sea Islands are welcome to submit their project proposals.
