Everyone is warmly invited to participate online and gain new knowledge about the ocean.

Responding to National Ocean Day by Promoting Marine Culture and Conservation Awareness

To echo the理念 of National Ocean Day, the Headquarters will host a three-day series of online activities from June 6 to June 8 on its official Facebook page, including online explorations, lectures, and prize-winning quizzes. Participants who watch the videos and correctly answer eight questions related to Penghu South Four Islands National Park and marine biodiversity will have a chance to win attractive prizes. For this event, Professor Yu-Wen Chiu from National Chiayi University has been specially invited to help the public gain an in-depth yet accessible understanding of Taiwan’s marine culture and conservation through a series of lecture videos.

Online Prize Quiz Activities Enhance Public Engagement

In response to current COVID-19 prevention policies, the Exhibition is temporarily closed. However, the spirit of knowing the ocean, loving the ocean, and engaging with the ocean continues. The Headquarters has prepared four exciting prizes, including a commemorative stamp folder of the Penghu South Four Islands, a waterproof dry bag, a multifunctional sun-protection hat, and a “Little Wu-Ge” keychain. Everyone is welcome to participate in the online activities from home while supporting epidemic prevention.
