Marine National Park Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as MNPH) intends to host three seminars (South Penghu Marine National Park Seminars) at the Penghu Marine Geopark Center on March 27th and 28th, 2015. The open hours for entries are from 10 o’clock in the morning on March 17th until 5 o’clock in the evening on March 23rd. All the tourism-related personnel in Penghu and environmental education staff members are invited to attend the seminar!

South Penghu Marine National Park was launched as the 9th National Park of our country in June, 2014. It is also the 2nd Marine National Park besides Dongsha Atoll National Park. All of the features of the Park such as the unique and splendid columnar basalt landscape, abundant and various marine and island ecosystems, and immigration history-embedded traditional humanism and indigenous tribes are equipped with the potential for environmental education promotion by combining experience tours. However, all resources are limited and the environment is relatively sensitive and fragile due to the island ecosystem in South Penghu Marine National Park. Therefore, this seminar hosted by MNPH aims at tourists and environmental education employees in order to prevent the local resources from being damaged by the crowds. Hopefully after the lectures in the seminar, the attendees will become the seeded publicists and convey accurate development concepts of the National Park to the masses. Any person who is interested in South Penghu Marine National Park is also welcome to attend the seminar.

MNPH indicates that there will be three National Park Seminars hosted. We will open 70 seats for each seminar. Please go to the registration webpage of MNPH for subscription. The open hours for entries are from 10 o’clock in the morning on March 17th until 5 o’clock in the evening on March 23rd. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. The contents of the seminar include the topics regarding recreation services, laws and regulations, and local operation and management of the National Park. The attendees will receive an introductory reference of South Penghu Marine National Park and a souvenir. The registration website: http://signup.cpami.gov.tw/index.aspx.
